I LOVED shooting this newborn session on the Petty’s farm in Waxhaw, NC! The Petty’s live on 8 acres of land where they renovated their beautiful home themselves and turned it into a modern farmhouse dream come true.

We started inside where we documented the new family of three in Blair’s bright and airy nursery. I always love seeing how new parents decorate their baby’s room and Blair’s was stunning with it’s clean, minimalist style, pops of sage green, and rattan accents.

We made our way through their beautifully decorated home–seriously, every corner of this house is stunning–before heading out on the farm to meet the goats. And what photogenic goats they were too! 😆 They followed Jon Mark and Elizabeth all the way down to the chicken coop where I chased the chickens and rooster around with my camera. I was unsuccessful in grabbing a picture of the flighty birds (pun intended), but I enjoyed the chase all the same! 🤪 The farm animals and their dogs, Charlie and Duke, have lovingly accepted Blair as part of the family. She’s one lucky girl!

I had the absolute best time getting to know Elizabeth and Jon Mark and loved shooting in their gorgeous farmhouse!
